Bernadette Mergaerts

The Belgian photographer/videographer/geographer Bernadette Mergaerts creates in several visual, auditory and tactile worlds. Her work is printed in limited editions on paper, metal and textile.
She often collaborates with poets, writers, musicians and dancers.

Bernadette has exhibited in Belgium, France, Greece, Spain and Germany in sometimes rather unusual places indoors and outdoors. Her latest work 'Flisvos' (book 2021 and film 2023) is a poetic stroll in Kérkyra (Greece). Reality and fiction transport the viewers/readers into a peaceful world like in suspension.
