Doris Boerman is an artist working in the media of sculpture, installation and performance. Her work evolves from questions on the similarities between the exhibition space as a presentation model for art and the body as a presentation model for identity. In this interest she looks at the ideologies that lie behind these two and touches upon subjects such as femininity, seduction, architecture, presentation and re-presentation.
