Ingrid Van der Heyden

I am a visual artist and like to work with different media, mostly experimenting with ink, acrylic, glue and textile. I am inspired by the human body and its emotions. My topic at the moment is nesting and I try to go as far as I can to bring the visual and emotional impact of a nest. High Relief textile sculpture is in progress. Part of the year I work in thailand where I also have a studio and teach art. I recently was invited to go to Japan and Oman to collaborate with japanese master calligraphers. Art is my life.
Voor deze Atelier in Beeld werken we samen met 9 andere ateliers in Schilde, Halle-Zoersel en Wijnegem. We hebben gezamenlijk een fietsroute uitgestippeld waarlangs je al deze ateliers op een makkelijke manier kan bereiken. De route staat bij de foto's van de ateliers en kan op 4/5 mei bij alle deelnemende ateliers op papier meegenomen worden.
