I have been living and working in Brussels since 2011. Before coming to Belgium, I spent many years in Asia, taught in China and Korea, and participated in residency programs in the USA, France, Sweden, Finland, and Germany, among others. I was a resident at WIELS in 2024.
I studied ethnography, literature, and anthropology, and obtained a doctorate at the University of Fine Arts Budapest. I wrote my thesis on the history of Chinese video art.
I work with a wide variety of media, primarily make sculptures, objects, photo-based work and video animations. Community and personal memory, history, and sexuality are at the center of my visual interest.
In my studio in Anderlecht I operate a non-profit showroom, the Streetview Anderlecht, which supports young emerging artists. (www.facebook.com/streetviewanderlecht, www.instagram.com/streetviewanderlecht)
