Kunst in de maak

In the church of Wintam, there's plenty of space for drawing, painting, sculpting, photography... Fifteen artists have their studios there.

2

Hugo Van Herbruggen

For Hugo, nature is his source of inspiration, especially the gracefulness of the female figure, but also animals, shells, and seashells inspire him. He creates sculptures in blue stone and various types of marble. Additionally, since 2018, he has also started welding in steel, stainless steel, and corten steel.

In Hugo's studio, you will also discover works by Leentje Peirsman, Marc Peeters, and Jean-Pierre Grumeau.

3

Wielhof

Wielhof is a place for creativity and spirituality. You'll discover watercolors, collages, glass sculptures, and nature sculptures there. It's the studio of Mieke De Rauw and Cis Peeters.

4

Flash! fotocollectief

Flash! Fotocollective organizes photo shoots in the pop-up studio at the community center of Hingene. During the sessions, visitors are invited to observe, ask questions, and actively participate themselves.

5

Kunstkring Scheldeland

Kunstkring Scheldeland is a group of artists who meet twice a week to paint.

6

Mimine Vleminckx

Mimine mainly starts her paintings from her own photographic material. For each work, she creates a unique image in which the environment may or may not be minimized. The human figure stands out in a special way.

7

Maakplaats

The Maakplaats is kept open by a few creative volunteers. They assist our visitors in realizing and developing their ideas, but they also enjoy working on their own designs.

Lea was looking for something to clear her mind while still creating something, like a bowl or an object. Ceramics is her solution; at the pottery wheel, she forgets everything.
