Three cycling routes in the Kempen

Stuifzand and seven municipalities in Antwerp joined forces to create three cycling routes passing by studios in the region of Geel, Mol, and Balen.

Stuifzand is a regional collaboration focused on culture and heritage in the Kempen region. It is a collective of individuals and organizations that collaborate on cultural and heritage projects, weave entrepreneurial networks, and energize cultural life in the Kempen.

Every year, Stuifzand, in collaboration with several municipalities in Antwerp, designs cycling routes in the region. There are three routes, each based on cycling nodes (fietsknooppunten). You can customize your own route to visit the studios that interest you the most. Get ready for some decision-making stress!

The three starting points are:

South route (through Meerhout, Laakdal & Geel): Kapel Heilig Graf, Gasthuisstraat Meerhout (cycling node 1)
North route (through Retie, Dessel & Mol): De Vest, Passtraat 14, Retie (cycling node 9)
East route (through Balen): Bevrijdingstraat 1, Balen (cycling node 17)
